Jo Wharfe

Jo Wharfe is a valued member of the Woodlands Preschool team, bringing over 15 years of dedicated experience in early years education. With a Level 2 qualification and a rich background spanning preschools, nurseries, before and after school clubs, and childminding, Jo has developed a deep understanding of how to nurture and inspire young minds.

Jo is known for a caring, loving approach and the ability to draw on a wealth of life experiences to support and guide every child. She is passionate about helping children feel safe, confident, and valued, and believes in the importance of making learning both engaging and fun. Jo’s commitment to fostering a warm, inclusive environment is evident in every interaction, as she works to ensure each child has the opportunity to flourish.

Outside of her professional life, Jo enjoys spending quality time with her husband and 2 gown up sons, and is always eager for new opportunities to grow and learn—qualities she brings with her into the preschool setting each day.
